How Do We Get Started?
- First, form a walking team of no more than ten members.
- Choose a team captain and pick a team name.
- Ask team captain to contact community coordinator to receive team captain password. Captain then registers at our website.
- Fill out individual registration form. Be sure to sign, date and return form with payment to county coordinator. If you complete the online registration form, you will need to be able to print the form at the end of the registration process. Team captain can return all member forms and fees to coordinator.
- Keep track of the miles or time you walk, and report your weekly total to your team captain. Your team captain will add up all the members' miles for the week and report the team total to this website or to community coordinator.
- Check events calendar for activities, such as "kick-off" party. Visit this site every now and then to see how your team is doing.
- Make sure you have shoes that are good for walking.
- Plan to have lots of fun!
